Ukrainian cuisine

Ukrainian cuisine is simple and abundant. Many dishes are dough based.

  • Vareniki : a kind of ravioli filled with cheese or fruits. Served with sour cream.
  • Borsch :  based beet borsch different from Russian, Ukraine is added at the end of a spoon cooking bacon and crushed clove of garlic.
  • Pampushki : small fresh bread that accompanies the borsch.
  • Galushki : kind of gnocchi served with fresh cream.
  • Salo : smoked bacon, sliced, sprinkled with garlic, kind of zakuski. A dish must.
  • Farshirovannie pertsi : stuffed peppers, stuffing is based on a mixture of minced meat and rice.
  • Farshirovannie sinenkie : aubergines stuffed with stuffing vegetables (carrot, onion, cabbage).
  • Glazunia s salom : scrambled eggs with bacon.
  • Golubtsi : stuffed cabbage. Served in cream sauce.
  • Kompoti : fruit syrup.
  • Marinovannie ovoschi i frukti :  pear / watermelon / mushrooms / pickled in sweet-sour juice.
